These waste transfer notes were a bit different form the normal ones that we print in that they were printed in blue and orange ink rather than black. What is more, they were printed on plain 100gsm paper rather than carbonless NCR paper.

 Furthermore, they asked our waste transfer not printers to bind them on the short edge rather than the long edge. The advantage of binding on that edge is that less of the books aria is taken up by the spin and that both right and left handed people can use them easily.

The waste transfer notes are A5 size and printed on 3 sheets in black ink. Top white, middle yellow and bottom blue. All there sheets are glued together with a special glue that keeps them in sets of 3 when ripped off the pad. A final top coat of glue is then put over the whole lot – once the first coat it dry. This top coat holds all of the individual 3-part sets together in a pad of 50.
